The Next Step. . .
1. Your certificate must be obtained from The Southern Nevada School of Real Estate.
2. Fingerprints are done at the Metro Sub-station:

3. It is your option to have disability insurance prior to licensing. The SIIS provides this service. To apply you must go to:

Cost: Deposit approximately $88 for quarterly billings
SIIS will bill you for the quarterly premium amount of $65.25.
4. The application itself must be thoroughly completed by you and signed by you (and notarized) and signed by your new broker (and notarized).
One of the most asked about questions on the application is education.
For Salesmen the breakdown is:
45 Principles + 45 Law = Total 90 Hours
For Brokers and Broker-Salespersons this is a bit more complex with the college requirements and/or experience equivalence. You will need to show college transcripts and/or the proper experience letters from your past broker(s) and/or state licensing history to prove the extent of your experience.
The application fee is:
Salesperson - $170 for a 2 year license
Broker-Salesperson - $210 for a 2 year license
Broker - $210 for a 2 year license
